Berry-Almond Slam Smoothie
Smoothies are super easy and quick to make, whether for a breakfast-to-go or for a leisurely meal at the kitchen table while reading the morning newspaper.
The almond butter in this smoothie makes it an ideal meal replacement. If the almond milk is too sweet for your taste buds, feel free to add water instead.
- 1 cups (375 mL) frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
- 1 cups (375 mL) almond milk
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) almond butter
- 1 serving protein powder
1. Put all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth, adding more liquid if necessary.
